I agree. I experience the same thing. It feels like the UI is polling
for keyboard state at certain periods, instead of processing
keydown/up events. (although I've not looked at the code to verify)
At times I don't notice, but at other times it's annoying. The
trouble is very visible in the recorded programs listing, because it
loads metadata each time you stop on a show.
