Yes this is definatly interesting. Rich, could you spend some more time on
it and make it an option in Setup ('display warning'/'switch to
playback'/'switch to watch recordings area')? And maybe add some OSD
message 'Recording in progress\nStarting playback'.

I think that Isaac then will accept the patch.

I never seen a TiVo or something the like, but this MythTV design choise
seemed a bit akward to me too.
