Okay, I'll bite on this one.

MythTV rocks... its totally reclaimed the TV for me.
I used to watch litterly 1 show (Enterprise) and ended
up missing it most of the time anyway... I was usually
at work :(.

Regardless, I use MythWeather (got to check wind speed
for sailing), MythVideo (hello all of those DVD's
ripped to DivX are great for entertainment), and
MythTV (really to catch - Futurama (its off in this
area now though), Simpsons, and Enterprise (Soon to be
cancelled apparently).

Its changed the way I view TV/Movies. I now end up
fast forwarding through most of the fluff, and can
watch an hour long program in about 20 minutes. I
guess you'd call it 'Speed Watching'.

Other then that its definately made me curse quite a
bit more at my linux machines and hack more with
various network setups. Currently I have a server
(myth master backend/mysql box/web box) serving 2
remote front ends (both front ends having their own
capture cards). It works pretty well... but I do
notice the electric bill. It would be nice to
consolidate this a bit more... but hey NFS/NIS is
pretty cool.

FYI, mythgame is cool.... but seriously guys build
your own mame cabinet its not really that hard. Real
arcade controls rock for things like Gauntlet, Gyruss,
Contra, Street Fighter, Asteroids, and of course the
drunken favorites in my house - Lunar Landar (okay
that's a vodka only night), and of course Depth Charge
(for when you're really really really bloto)
