[mythtv-users] What do you do with your Myth box?

I have an Athlon 2500 XP with 1 gig of ram with an AVER TV Tuner. This
is my backend. I have a serial cable connected to a Motorola digital
cable box for watching digital channels. I have a 14GB drive for the OS,
and two 80GB drives for MythTV stuff (LVM so I can expand as needed).
This box serves as by backend.

I have a brand new Shuttle SK41G (http://tinyurl.com/mw5b) that I just
bought yesterday. I put an Athlon 2200 and 256MB RAM in this guy. It has
a built in S3 ProSavageDDR (called a Savage8 on board though) and has
SVideo out. I plan to make this my remote frontend. I'll be putting a
DVD player in it to watch DVDs. I'm going to run MythMusic and MythVideo
on it as well. I ran a cable from the room with my backend to the TV. I
cut a whole in the carpet and used fish wire to string it through so it
doesn't get tripped on.

I'm currently struggling with the remote frontend. I get all sorts of QT
errors when trying to watch a recording on either of my frontends
(http://tinyurl.com/2q9ns). I'm also looking for a good remote to buy.
I'm considering buying a Tivo remote but I'm unsure where to buy an IR
reciever that could recieve it's signal.
