[mythtv-users] Lirc.....HELP!!!!

After following the instructions here:

...to use an ir blaster and the pvr-250, i get the following error when trying to modprobe remote_serial

dmesg says: remote_dev: device registration failed with -16

my system is running fedora core 1, with dual pvr-250's, and the simple ir transmitter from lirc's webpage.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
