[mythtv-users] multiple video sources

Adding a second copy of your (capture) card will NOT
be what you want. You probably need to re-run the
mythsetup to remove the second copy (hint: If you
answer 'yes' to the first question (reset card info)
but answer 'no' to the second question (reset video
source info), you can still reset your capture card
info and you won't have to run mythfilldatabase
afterward).

To change the video input source when you are watching
TV, you need to press the 'C' key.

I haven't really tried to change from cable input to
direct tv input from the program guide (don't watch
live tv through myth) so maybe someone else could
offer an opinion on this. I am recording right now so
I can't test it - I'll let you know in 15 minutes or
so.

I have hooked up my cable TV to the tuner and the
DirecTV to the
s-video. I have also added the new cable service to
mythtvsetup and
specified it in the tuner setting. I can see DirecTV
fine but it wont
turn to the cable when I select a cable station. I
did notice that the
setting under my pvr-250 says the default is the
svideo connection so I
added a second card in the settings and set the
default on that card to
the tuner. Still no luck though.
Any Ideas?
