I highly recommend the cheap crap. ;-)  I got the $13 six in one "One 
for All" remote at wallyworld.

It's the only budget remote I found that would handle my stereo as well. 
  I've got lirc config files and recommended codes that you can use to 
merge two of the functions together into one full-featured myth capable 
device. (leaving 4 other functions for your TV, DVD, Stereo or whatever)
