[mythtv-users] mythtv showing a square picture instead of 4:3

I figured out the problem with image tearing on my screen was because of twinview. I disabled that but now when I goto playback video in mythTV it comes up square with bars on the sides. I'm using a 4:3 TV and it is in 4:3 mode but it's square! If I hit W it goes 16:9 and actually fills the screen correctly, but this setting does not stick when i back out! The myth menus, mplayer, ogle all work perfectly, except for mythtv playback, any ideas? Here are my new settings:

    #TV Out Setup
# Option "TwinView"
