You didn't try the hidden legend in MythWeb?  I only found it by 
accident when my mouse ran over it.

In the menu row it says:
MythTV: Listings Movies ...

Hover your mouse over "MythTV:"

The legend will appear like magic.

Also in the settings of the latest version you can define those colors 
the way you want.
