[mythtv-users] Remote frontend kills my master backend

I've been fighting this for a couple of weeks now (with a week's
vacation in between, so it's only really been about a week), but
basically, my frontend/backend combo box works just fine now. Just
updated to current CVS as of a couple of hours ago.
It's when I try to bring up a second frontend that things get screwy.
When I go into the TV module and select "watch recordings", I get a
popup saying, "The connection to the master backend server has gone away
for some reason.. Is it running?"
The xterm that I ran mythfrontend from states:
2004-01-05 21:50:02 Connecting to backend server: 10.1.0.55:6543 (try 1
of 5)
2004-01-05 21:50:02 ReadStringList timeout (quick).
QSocketDevice::writeBlock: Invalid socket
2004-01-05 21:50:02 Error writing stringlist
Connection to backend server lost
The backend server log yields a "unknown socket" before it adds the
remote frontend as a client. And 3 or so out of 5 times, if I'm
watching live tv from the frontend/backend combo box then try what I did
above, I can get mythbackend to crash.
Would this be the point where I recompile and submit a backtrace or am I
missing something obvious here?
