Unfortunately, ATi doesn't' have a great history of providing Linux 
support for their products.

You would be better looking at the pcHDTV ( http://www.pchdtv.com/ ) or 
maybe the Hauppauge products ( 
http://www.hauppauge.com/html/products.htm#digital ) in the near future?
