Hm i have been thinking along this line as well.
But on top of that i would like to see a cutlist ditribution.
What do i mean:
say, I have recorded a hour of radio show. This i cut into songs and
name them (many station do have playlists on the web)
The cutlist gets uploaded with station and time information.
Next day you want look at you radio recordings. mythradio checks and
tells you there is a cutlist for your recording. Download it and
mythradio spits aout nicely cut and tagged mp3 files.
Definetly timesynchronisation is crucial here. ntp comes to mind.
OTOH many stations are have a unique signal to indicate they are about
to announce the time. ("it is twelve a clock by the beep")
maybe this or any pattern recognisable event could be used to
synchronise file and cutlist.
just an idea.
