You don't have to install and compile everything all over again, but 
you do need to compile mythtv with cle266 support (build your own rpm 
and rpm -Uvh 'em, or remove current rpms and install from source).

Note that the cle266 isn't going to do anything for you with a WinTV 
PCI card. It only decodes mpeg2, so you need an mpeg2 capture card for 
the cle266 to help out with TV at all.

And I think SuSE is about the only distribution I'd recommend NOT to 
use for a MythTV box (I'm rather fond of it otherwise, my 3rd favorite 
behind Fedora/Red Hat and Gentoo), because of the many problems folks 
have had with it. I know it was a huge problem with 8.2, can't recall 
if things are much better with 9. It *can* work, but be ready for a 
struggle.
