I've had pretty spectacular results with Unreal 2004. No display issues running
it at 800x480, fit nice, text is large enought that it looks good. Unreal 2004
does 'ok' with linear control devices.
I run it all via Logitech Wireless http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/sim-

However, getting the Logitech controller to run under linux is a whole other
story...
