[mythtv-users] Unusual HD Activity

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else has come across the following problem.
Very recently, after recording a show with mythtv there is an unusually
large amount of activity trying to access the HD.  If I do a top, I see
that the process involved is ksoftirqd_CPU0.

Also, if this is happening, I just need to switch to LiveTV and then the
HD activity stops.  If I don't try to watch TV while this is happening it
will happen indefinitely.  I'm guessing that this is not good for my HD in
the long run....

I've been running with mythtv 0.13 since it came out with no problems
until now.  This just started to happen last Sunday... :(

Also, my system has been up for 76 days, so maybe the long uptime has
something to do with it?

Any ideas?
