consider some replies as rather harsh.  But in this instance, I find this
thread almost comical.  Let me quote you and compare:

And from the Google results which you say you had already found:

It clearly says, use the ivtvfwextract.pl script, for the executable drivers
(the exe's linked from Jarod's howto, which YOU refered to)

Does anyone else besides me find this funny, or am I missing something?

It would appear then you answered your own question regarding extraction,
