The latest versions of some Pinnacle cards have either a new tuner type 
that is unsupported under Linux, or possibly the new cx88 chipset, for 
which very alpha-quality drivers exist. Double-check on the card itself 
what Conexant chip it has (likely either Fusion 878A or CX23881, or 
something like that)...
