Maybe I don't understandhow mythtranscode works. I have some mpeg2
files from a PVR250 that I would like to transcode to mpeg4. Here is
the output of my attempt:
-------
$ mythtranscode -i 3012_20030802203000_20030802210000.nuv
Stream: 0 Type: 0
Stream: 1 Type: 1
Input #0, mpeg, from '3012_20030802203000_20030802210000.nuv':
Stream #0.0: Video: mpeg2video, 720x480, 29.97 fps
Stream #0.1: Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz, stereo, 384 kb/s
Output #0, vob, to '3012_20030802203000_20030802210000.nuv.tmp':
Stream #0.0: Video: mpeg2video, 720x480, 29.97 fps, q=2-31, 8000 kb/s
Stream #0.1: Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz, stereo, 384 kb/s
-------
As you can see, it is trying to output mpeg2 format into a vob file? In
my recording profiles, I have mpeg2 set to transcode to mpeg4 with a
bitrate of 2000 (and the same for mpeg4/rtjpeg), so I don't see where
this output profile is coming from for mythtranscode.
Is there some other option I need to give mythtranscode to make this
work?
