Hello List,

   I struggled the past few hours with setting up MythGame. Is there any
documentation beside the small paragraph in Jarod's guide and the included
readme file? It seems like this should work pretty much out of the box. My
problem is that it refuses to find my roms.

This is what I did:
* I installed xmame 0.74.1-1.1 via apt-get.
* Downloaded catver.ini for Mame v0.78 from catver.com. Does it
  matter that the version number isn't corresponding to my xmame
  version?
* Downloaded hiscore.dat and history.dat from mame.net
* Adjusted MythGame Settings:

  MAME hiscore path=/myth/games/xmame/hiscores/hiscore.dat
  MAME history path=/myth/games/xmame/history/history.dat

  I'm confused here. Do I have to enter an absolute filename or
  just the directory path. I looked at the code and it seems like
  this should be an absolute path?

This is in my mythfrontend.log:

Any ideas? Is the assertion a critical problem?

Thanks for your help,

   Michael
