Have you tried:

1) Not writing to an NFS share?
2) Using a lower bitrate?

The IOBOUND message seem to indicate that data isn't getting flushed to 
disk fast enough.  That's probably not the root cause of the truncated 
recordings but it's something to investigate.

If it's a "driver" issue it's possible it's in your firmware.  Try 
different versions of that.
