[mythtv-users] PUNDIT High-CPU watching TV - Fixed

Attached. I have quite a good CPU (P4 2.6G with 512M memory). Its also
worth tweaking some of the BIOS settings for shared memory size etc, that
made a small but noticeable difference to the performance. Two tools worth
checking out are "x11perf -shmput500" and "xvtest".

I now get x11perf showing 262 repetitions/second and xvtest showing 2100
fps.

I've got MTRRs enabled. So could you give some more hints? I've also got a
Pundit, but X runs at 7-8% (@ 720x576). Which seemed good to me, but now I
think
it might explain the slight playback problems I have.

Maybe you could mail your XF86Config and kernel .config?
