Based on my recent experience, I would suggest JFS, XFS, or EXT3 w/o '-T 
largefile4'.  All of this is based solely on the time required to delete 
very large files; EXT3 w/ '-T largefile4' and Reiser appear to be much 
slower at that particular task.

Well, maybe not solely based on that:  ext2 has fast delete speeds but 
the fsck time is a killer.
