[mythtv-users] What is your ideal hardware?

Hi all

I just found MythTV and my inner geek is shouting at me to build a new PC!

Since I'm so new at this, I was wondering if people could recommend a
hardware setup since you're more likely to know what works best than I am.

My main area of concern is what tuners, GFX card and sound card to get and
to some extent how much CPU power do I need if I get hardware encode/decode?

Money is not too much of a problem so I am looking for some high-end kit
to play with on my new 36" widescreen TV that is turning up tomorrow, and
progressive video/upsampling is a must for DVD playback.

I also want a remote control.  I know you get one with the Hauppage 350
but is it any good?

Are there any nice PC cases that won't look too out of place in my hi-fi
stack?

I should also mention I'm in the UK as I guess this will affect the tuner
cards I need (or does it?).
