[mythtv-users] DVD Image playback

I used DVDShrink (Windows) to rip the DVD and remove the encryption and region, I then used Nero to create the ISO image (removing the 'relax ISO restrictions' options). I think that's all I should need to do but could be wrong.

Of course I would do it all in Linux but I can leave the Windows box ripping while I play with the Myth box!

	My main question is regarding the DVD encryption.  How'd you cook up 
the iso?  If the DVD is encrypted, I don't think you can do that... I think you've have to decrypt the VOBs, and then remaster the image.  Should still be 
doable, and probably the best way to archive DVDs.  Regarding xine issues between image/loopback playback, can't help you.
