Never seen a message like this and don't know where you may
have seen it or what it could mean. If there is such a message
you may want to cut'n'paste it along with what log file or
command output had this message.

Try "lsmod". If the modules loaded you should see something
like this:

Did you unmute and turn up the volume mixers for Master
and PCM in "alsamixer"?
