There is an odd thing. If I put the option for the test image in
/etc/modprobe.conf and reload bothe saa7127 and ivtv the options work just
fine.

It seems the ivtv module determines wether it is PAL or NTSC.

Jarod: You may add a note to the guide to point out this limitation which
you will notice only outside NTSC countries.
