That's not really it.  This machine may well be a gateway shielding off 
several other separate boxes behind it. But how is offering rlogin on the 
internet safe (or even useful) ?  Same goes for the rest.

I'm not gonna check it, but it is easy to verify: just attempt a full protocol 
handshake, like telnet or rlogin, or finger.
