On my system, my NVidia MX440 card is connected to one input of my TV,
and the PVR-350 to another. Setting up X windows with two displays
gives display :0.0 on the graphics card and :0.1 on the PVR-350.
MythTV runs on :0.1 and also uses the PVR-350 decoder, and the mplayer
command line for watching divx files using mythvideo specifies
-display :0.0. When I select a video to watch, I just have to switch
TV inputs, it works really well. If I was rich enough to buy a
programmable remote control then it could probably issue the two
commands one after the other, saving me a button press!
Cheers,
Steve
