[mythtv-users] Xbox Gentoo Vs GentooX Vs Xebian

That is exactly what I tried. For some really weird reason it fails every
time. I went through the perl script to try and narrow down the problem. I
noticed that the first thing it did during the config step (installing
Xebian went fine..) was do an apt-get update. I tried running this manually
and it came back full of errors like the one I described. I know that the
network works because I can use lynx to go to the same sites that apt-get
has problems with.
I changed the sources.list locations for the debian part to the local
university and it worked better, but it still failes on the Mythtv sources.

With Xebian did you follow the instructions from http://bit.blkbk.com/?
They worked very well for me.
BTW, (this might have changed) there were problems with the 1.1 version of
Xebian and mythtv. 1.03 should be used instead.
