Mythweb is primarily an interface to the tv/recordings portions of 
mythtv.  Future versions may allow for a more separate interface, but 
for now the bulk of the features are related to TV.

Anyway, without the channels database, mythweb may not do you all that 
much good.

I supposed as an interim solution, you could just disable/delete the 
section of the code that causes that error.
