[mythtv-users] running mythv on vmware without video input hardware

hi all,

I'm really interested in replacing my old nokia dvb-s receiver with a 
myth tv box, but I'd like to test the mythtv software before purchasing 
a dvb-s pci card like a hauppauge nexus. So here is my question:

Will I be able to start the software (testing skins, menus, image 
browser etc.) inside a vmware box running gentoo without having any kind 
of video card?
