[mythtv-users] No response from TV. Really need some help. Ready to give up.

I think the best suggestion for you is to

1)  Put a TV and cable connection on this system for testing
2)  Get the PVR-350 working *outside* of MythTV using something like 
xawtv or even cat /dev/videoX > file.mpg

Once you have that working, I suspect adding MythTV to the equation 
should be straightforward.
