My system is connected to a Mitsubishi DLP projector using the RGB port. i.e. the desktop, tv, dvd, etc.. does or should display via the projector. I have sound via ALSA SPDIF. It works great now including DTS and Dolby 5.1.

This is what lsmod reports (note this is a partial listing of relevant modules)

Module Size Used by
bttv 141837 0
tuner 16857 0
snd_pcm_oss 43129 0
video_buf 17221 1 bttv
i2c_algo_bit 7497 1 bttv
v4l2_common 5057 1 bttv
btcx_risc 3785 1 bttv
videodev 7105 1 bttv
i2c_core 17345 3 bttv,tuner,i2c_algo_bit

Also, when I run the find_tvcardoptions script, I am using card #34 (Leadtek WinFast 2000), "us-cable", "NTSC" and using "2" for a channel. I get a tv window with a hardcoded still image but not television. I went thru all the possibilities to no avail. I am now running the 2.6.8 kernel...

More ideas?

Hi. I love the little shuttle and have a ss40g. Anyway,
let's start from the beginning.

Does Xwindows start when connected to a monitor?
Do you have sound, i.e. can play wav's and mp3's.
Can you watch tv in myth when connected to a monitor?

If you do a lsmod, do you see tvtuner and (tvaudio or
btaudio) in the list?
