[mythtv-users] Using scan converter w/ myth

All,

    For those that have a non-hdtv and are using a pc->tv scan converter
(I know there was at least one that responded before).  What settings do
you have in Mythtv?  Are you using de-interlacing?  Do you have an
interlaced modeline in your X config?  Just trying to figure this all
out...it always seemed to me that de-interlacing shouldn't be necessary
when you're taking an interlaced input (assuming that's what the PVR-250
is) and playing on an interlaced output....but hey, I don't know what's
going on in the internals of mythtv.
