That depends on the resolution of the recorded
program.  Go over to www.linpvr.org and check out the
forums.  There is a distro designed to do what you
want to do and alot of people with that hardware.

There is a case you can use which replaces the fan
with a heat pipe, but the case is pretty expensive
compared to other cases.
