I am the same way...Hate commercials now =)

Personally, I love it. On *most* channels it works fine (especially
national channels, locals are sometimes bad).  I use strict
commflagging, though, because it used to pick up when the scene went
a bit dark (say in a cave, or a low-lit room -- on the show). Now it
is almost perfect =) (Better than TiVo's ;-)
