Ok while we're at it, does anyone have suggestions on a good, solid mobo
for a file server (eventually I'll be doing raid-5 but I don't mind
doing it in software), that has maybe 4 or 6 ide channels? Or even
without, as long as there's no audio/video onboard?

Reason I ask, is that my only "extra" mobo right now is a ECS K7S5A with
on-board sound and is probably just overkill for the Athlon 1Ghz T-bird
I'd like build a fileserver with. I just want a solid, affordable board
without the extra frills... The ECS would go in my next desktop.
