So, if somebody wants to change something because his wife
doesn't understand or doesn't like the way it works, he's not
supposed to say that?
I rather think that sounds insulting and implies that one
should be ashamed to trying to do something to please one's
spouse.

Well, for one, user-friendly is user-specific. Something's
that's friendly to one person isn't to another. I don't see
how it's insulting somebody to say they didn't like the UI.

So If a guy is happy with the UI, but his wife isn't, he
shouldn't say so. He should write that "a person of unspecified
sex with an unspecified relationship to me" doesn't grok this
piece of the UI?
What does that accomplish?
