[mythtv-users] STB TV130 tuner -- TV works, no sound -- Help

I have a STB TV130 tv tuner

that I know works. The TV part works, but I get no sound.

Any help would be much appreciated.

OS: Redhat9

Kernels tried:
2.4.26
2.4.20-30.9 (redhat)

ALSA 1.0.3

Soundcard Hercules Game Theather XP

Here is what I have done so far:
1) ALSAMIXER -- Unmutted everything and turned it up.
2) Modules.conf

   # bttv
   alias char-major-81     videodev
   alias char-major-81-0   bttv
   options bttv   card=3 tuner=6 
   options tvaudio  tda9850=1 debug=1

   # i2c
   alias char-major-89     i2c-dev
   options i2c-core        i2c_debug=1
   options i2c-algo-bit    bit_test=1

   The modules load fine.
3) MPLAYER -- Sound works fine for mplayer
4) Switched the cable from CD_IN to AUX1 on the sound card. Had no effect.
Mplayer still works fine.
