[mythtv-users] S-Video Problems

Hi all.

I have been mostly successful with my Mandrake 9.2, PAL, MythTV setup. 
During its creation I was using the composite in on a PVR 250, but as 
soon as my cables arrived I switched over to S-VIDEO (much better 
quality BTW). I did notice that the picture came through in Black & 
White. I find that if I run the ivtv "test_ioctl -p 0" command in the 
shell, I get my colour back. However if I begin to record it reverts to 
black & white again. I have checked mythtvsetup and confirmed that its 
set to PAL and that Svideo0 is the input etc.

My best guess is that MythTV is attempting some kind of channel change 
or something. I can' imagine where MYTH is getting its settings from.

Does anyone know a fix for this ?
