Hello. This may or may not be the area to ask this but here it goes
anyways.
I've got Slackware 9.1 installed and it works great for watching and
recording tv under myth. I installed apache and php when I first installed
the OS. I've now got mythweb installed and I was able to view the
program_list.php. Once the page was done loading the machine crashed.
Unfortunatly I'm at work and the machine is at home but my wife says the num
lock won't turn off and she can't get anything to show up on the screen (its
in power save mode and won't come out) so its needs a reset. Has anyone
else had this problem? I've never had this problem with Linux before. Also
there is nothing in the log files that would suggest anything. The machine
just halted. Here is a list of the hardware for reference.
MB: Giga-byte GA-7N400 Pro2 (nForce2 chipset)
CPU: AMD XP2500 (not overclocked) runs at about 35C
Video: ATI Radeon 7500 (64 Megs) TV and DVI outs also
TV: Winfast TV2000XP Deluxe with remote (bttv), ATI TV Wonder Pro (cx8800)
modules not loaded
HD: 1 6Gig holds OS, 1 30Gig mount /var/video
CD: CDR-RW 8x/4X/40X
DVD: Generic DVD rom (no write)
Like I say slack runs fine otherwise. Thanks
