Hi,

I've setup my MythTV box following Jarod's guide up to step 13. I've
installed the driver for my PVR350 and edited /etc/modules.conf
according to Jarod's guide. However, I'm not able to tune to any
free-to-air channels in *Singapore*.

This is my /etc/modules.conf :

I've set my tuner type=28 according to the *modprobe tveeprom.*

For info, Singapore is using *PAL B/G* for its' broadcasts. I've also
attempted to scan for the channels using *scantv -a -o scanout* without
any success. Note: The *-a* option causes scantv to incremental the
frequency by 0.25MHz for each iteration of the scanning process.
Following is part of the output from the scanning:

$ scantv -a -o scanout
ioctl:
VIDIOC_ENUM_FMT(index=0;type=VIDEO_CAPTURE;flags=0;description="";pixelformat=0x00000000
[....]): Inappropriate ioctl for device

I've tried different selections for the frequency table, all without any
success. I'll like to be able to ensure that I can tune to all the
channels before I continue with the next step of the setup. I believe I
might need to get the frequencies of all the channels and manually enter
them into the database before I can continue further.

I'm at a lost on what to do next. Please help.

Thanks
KianTeck
