I agree that 75 ohm cable is best but considering that its a low frequency
pulse modulation typically running over a less than 10 foot length of cable
the amount of ringing you get will not affect the operation of the pcm
decoder in the amplifier. If you are a purist you will most likely be
running optical anyways. The "any old audio cable" bit was to indicate that
the person could quickly and easily test the setup with whatever cable they
had laying around. Of course YMMV.
