[mythtv-users] Problem after LIRC loads on boot

When you boot from CD and login have you looked in /var/log/messages?
There is usually a hint in there as to what is wrong.

The order that stuff loads is done numerically in redhat, look in
/etc/rc.d/rc3.d
all of the files that start with "S" are for start, they then have a
number. A standard ls command should display the files to you in the order
they start. You can ignore the ones that start with "K" that's for when
you do a shutdown.

After all those are done, it then goes through the rc.local.

No one can tell you for sure what is after each part as everyinstall is
different depending on what you have selected and what you have activated.
