My lack of linux knowledge is really starting to show. I tried what you said
to downgrade and here is what I got:

[root at localhost mythtv]# apt-cache policy ivtv
ivtv:
  Installed: 1:0.1.10-27_cvs20040326.rhfc1.at
  Candidate: 1:0.1.10-27_cvs20040326.rhfc1.at
  Version Table:
 *** 1:0.1.10-27_cvs20040326.rhfc1.at 0
        996 http://apt.physik.fu-berlin.de fedora/1/en/i386/at-testing
pkglist
        100 RPM Database
     1:0.1.10-26_cvs20040326.rhfc1.at 0
        996 http://apt.physik.fu-berlin.de fedora/1/en/i386/at-testing
pkglist
     1:0.1.9-25.rhfc1.at 0
        996 http://apt.physik.fu-berlin.de fedora/1/en/i386/at-testing
pkglist

According to other posts the 25 one is the one that should work correctly so
I:

[root at localhost mythtv]# apt-get install ivtv=1:0.1.9-25.rhfc1.at
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  ivtv: Depends: ivtv-kmdl (= 1:0.1.9-25.rhfc1.at)
E: Broken packages

Since it said it need the ivtv-kmdl I:

root at localhost mythtv]# apt-get install ivtv-kmdl=1:0.1.9-25.rhfc1.at
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done

And now im stuck. I think I might start over from scratch since I am getting
pretty good at that unless there is any easy way to fix. Thanks to anyone
for help.
