[mythtv-users] Headless Myth box?

I had my Myth box connected to a reciever for sound and also connected
to a TV via the TV out on my Shuttle box. Last night, my TV decided to
quit on me. I eventually want to have a DLP projector in my home
theater, but I don't have space for one now. I haven't figured out what
I want to use as the Myth display yet, so my whole Myth system isn't
getting any use right now.
Since all the audio in my system still works fine, I'm wondering if any
of you have any ideas about how to remotely control the Myth box from
another Linux machine on the same network. What would be great is if I
could output the display on the non-Myth box (I'm mainly looking to use
MythMusic, so it shouldn't be as complex as sending fullscreen video),
but have the audio still come out of the Myth box so that it goes
through my reciever and surround sound system.
Has anyone else tried anything like this setup? How well did it work?
Could it be my temporary fix? The MythTV component I use the most is
MythMusic. Thanks!
-Chris
