I have done just that.  Purchased some DirectTV TiVo remotes for $19 each.  
It also works with my Series2 switchable remote.  I'll post the conf files 
when I return home.

I however made changes to the key bindings in MythTV to make them more 
friendly to the TiVo remote, so I'll post details about the changes I 
made.
