All recorded show will be named '<chanid>_<starttime>_<stoptime>.nuv',
even if the file is a mpeg2 file.

And that is what is recorded, only filtering away unwanted stuff,
like different audio languages and such.

Already possible!

Very satisfied with the recorded shows, with my latest code,
it has no major hickups. And when my disk is full, I transcode
the recordings to mpeg4/xvid/divx to save space.
(Search the Gossamer archive for DVB Alpha for further info)

Won't work, unless you have a Full (not budget) Card with HW decoder,
and you also have to set the tuner of the card with (s|t|c)zap or alike.
The source of recording from a dvb card is /dev/dvb/adapter<num>/dvr0.
