[mythtv-users] newbie question: LiveTV exits MythTV

I have set up MythTV on RedHat 9. I have been able to view tv using 
xawtv, but when I try to choose "Live TV" from MythTV, the Myth front 
end exits with no feedback. Any idea how I can figure out what's going 
on?
