nuvexport will reencode the file to divx (or anything else that people
write plugins for)..  Now that mythtranscode spits out raw audio/video
data, we can reencode to anything we want.

Dennis (the guy who did the divx/wmv portions of nuvexport) finally
found some time to update the divx/wmv stuff in nuvexport, and the
changes are in the file now...  with my script, if something doesn't say
"disabled" chances are it works just fine (it might be missing software,
as you found out, but I'm working on getting that error reporting
fixed).  the divx/wmv stuff only needs ffmpeg, which you already have
installed.
